Plastic Surgery Specialist in Gender Affirmation

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Plastic Surgery Specialist in Gender Affirmation to join our team at the University of Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will have expertise in plastic surgery with a focus on gender affirmation and will be responsible for teaching, clinical, and research duties.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching responsibilities may include clinical and didactic instruction of medical students and plastic surgery residents.
- Clinical responsibilities may include building a gender affirmation surgical practice, incorporating other areas of reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery.
- Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical and/or basic science investigations in the field of plastic surgery and, specifically, gender affirmation.
Requirements:
- Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- They must also be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery or foreign equivalent or eligible for such certification.
- Applicants who have completed an accredited gender affirmation surgery fellowship will be preferred.
