Computed Tomography Technologist

Methodist ER Helotes, a 24/7 freestanding emergency center in the Far Northwest area of San Antonio, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team.

We are committed to providing exceptional patient care with warmth, compassion, and dignity. Our state-of-the-art facility features 7 all-private treatment rooms, a full-service laboratory, and telemetry services. Our experienced medical professionals work together to stabilize critical patients and transport them to a Methodist hospital for further care if needed.

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans on patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Perform CT scans on patients according to departmental policies and procedures.
• Position patients correctly for optimal image quality.
• Operate CT scanners and other related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and exam results.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A State Registered Radiologic Technician (ARRT) certification or a Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) credential.
• An Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
