Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating radiological equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping our medical team make accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate radiological equipment to produce clinical diagnostic films as directed by physicians.
  • Perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established policies and procedures.
  • Take quality x-ray images of specified body areas/parts as ordered by the physician, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Identify your role to the patient, explain the procedure, and answer questions relating to the procedure.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient by setting up the exam room properly for the procedure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
  • 2-5+ years of experience preferred.
  • New York State License required.
  • ARRT required.
