Master Painter and Decorative Artist

DeLeers Construction, a renowned design-build firm based in DePere, WI, is seeking an experienced painter with an artistic flair to join their team. With over 80 years of experience in the industry, this company specializes in unique custom builds and remodels.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for intricate and detailed work, including faux finishing, and be able to create stunning designs for entry/front doors, as well as recreate color matching for new construction to match existing wood and trim. This role may involve interacting with customers to bring their visions to life and working on a variety of projects across residential and commercial structures.

• Furnish surfaces of woodwork or wall board in residential and commercial structures.
• Prepare walls/surfaces and apply wallpaper, vinyl, and fabric coverings.
• Clean and care for brushes, spray guns, and other equipment.
• Inspect all work to ensure quality and accuracy, recognizing and rectifying failures.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by following established safety rules and regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Coursework in skilled crafts or trades training or experience in the field.
• Proven ability to read and comprehend basic written instructions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid state driver's license (or obtain one prior to employment).

• A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
