We are seeking a highly skilled Histology Specialist to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD.

JOB SUMMARY:


As a key member of our Anatomic Pathology team, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine histology tasks, including Immunohistochemistry and Special Stains. They will demonstrate expertise in embedding and cutting tissue samples, as well as articulate knowledge of testing principles and computer skills. The ideal candidate will also assist in Quality Assurance & Improvement initiatives and supervise daily workflow and staffing.

REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will possess formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college) in a related field. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role is required, with certification as a Histotechnologist (HT) ASCP. Additionally, proficiency with IHC/SS validations and maintenance of equipment is necessary. The ability to manage projects and coach others on proper technique is also essential. Qualification in IHC is desirable.
