Job Title: LPN - Silver Spring MD

Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior care services, and we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Bedford Court in Silver Spring, MD.

About the Role:

As an LPN at Sunrise Senior Living, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education and support to residents and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and providing wound care.
  • Conduct resident assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to meet resident needs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate resident care, including physician visits, lab work, and medical procedures.
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families on health-related topics, including disease management, medication management, and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality care and services.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Maryland.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or hospital settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality care and services.
