About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Inventory Supervisor to join our team at Pipecare Group.

This is a key role in our organization, responsible for overseeing the procurement and inventory management processes within the Inline Inspection (ILI) industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Management:
    • Develop and implement strategic procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
    • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
    • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
    • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
    • Implement inventory management systems and practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Coordinate with production and project teams to forecast inventory needs and adjust stock levels accordingly.
    • Order, receive (GR), and manage minimum/maximum levels for order intake, spares, and consumables.
    • Prepare shipments for both incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with Pipecare Group policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement and inventory performance to senior management.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement and inventory management efficiency.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and mentor a team of procurement and inventory staff.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and inventory management, preferably within the ILI or related industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
