Pool Monitor and Lifeguard

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Lifeguard to ensure the security and comfort of our guests at Great Wolf Resorts. In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring waterpark activities and reacting promptly in emergency situations.
The estimated hourly rate for this position is approximately $16.00, in line with industry benchmarks and local living expenses. Although prior experience is not mandatory, you must be at least 16 years old and willing to undergo training to become certified in First Aid, CPR, and Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training.
Main Duties:
- Keep a watchful eye on waterpark visitors throughout operating hours, special events, and instructional sessions
- Act swiftly in emergency scenarios within your designated zone
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to relay critical information about incidents outside of your area
- Implement basic first aid techniques and procedures as required
- Enforce and educate guests on waterpark rules and regulations
- Identify potential hazards in the aquatic environment and inform management accordingly
- Provide attentive and courteous service to all guests
- Execute regular tasks to maintain waterpark cleanliness and functionality
Essential Requirements:
- No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided
- Age requirement: at least 16 years old
- Willingness and ability to obtain certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training
- Pass a rigorous background check and substance abuse test
