$62,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience and location

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes
• Provide technical support to MRI services and ensure that services are delivered within professional standards
• Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures and explain the process
• Adjust scan parameters correctly and maintain accurate patient records

Department Support (15%)

• Maintain equipment in good working order and clean and disinfect equipment after each use
• Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades
• Monitor medical supply inventory and assist with training new associates

Requirements:

• AAS degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Current certification as an RT(R) or MR Tech
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
