English Teacher

About the Position

The El Dorado Union High School District is seeking a qualified English teacher to join our team. As an English teacher, you will be responsible for teaching courses in English to students, utilizing adopted courses of study. You will plan and present materials representing various facets of the English language, evaluate student performance, and prepare applicable grade reports. You will also communicate and be available to parents and students to discuss individual student progress.

Requirements

• Single Subject English Credential or equivalent

• English Learner Authorization

About the District

The El Dorado Union High School District serves 6,650 students in grades 9 through 12 and is comprised of four comprehensive high schools, a charter school, a Regional Occupational Program, and a continuation school. The district is located in the Sierra Nevada foothills between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe.
