Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. As a COTA, you will assist in helping clients of all ages develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations of clients' physical, emotional, and social abilities.
  • Help develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy sessions using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and assist in adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support client success.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to discussions on occupational therapy goals.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting.
  • Valid state certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a school setting is a plus.
