About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intern Designer to join our team at AE Design, Inc. As an Intern Designer, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced designers in the development of lighting and electrical designs for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of lighting and electrical systems for projects of all sizes and categories.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure that designs meet the client's requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed design documents, including schematics and spec sheets.
  • Source materials from various manufacturers to ensure the best solutions for the project.
  • Aggregate and deliver weekly/monthly/project reports to the project manager.
Requirements
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • 0-5 years of professional experience working in an architectural/lighting/MEP firm.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Ability to manage time and activities for optimum productivity.
  • Talent and adaptability to work well with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Desire to build relationships and work directly with clients.
