Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at the Addison Group. This is a Contract-Hire position with opportunities for long-term growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payment Processing: Analyze, investigate, and reconcile invoices and statements to ensure accuracy and efficiency in transactions.
  • Approval Vouchers: Prepare approval vouchers and obtain necessary signatures to facilitate payment processing.
  • Database Management: Enter invoice data into databases and general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions.
  • Bills and Expenditures: Review bills against appropriated and non-appropriated funds to ensure legality and control of accounts payable expenditures.
  • Payment Terms: Research and follow up on past due balances to optimize payment processing and take advantage of discounts.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Experience: 3+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience.
  2. Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen.
  3. Credentials: Ability to pass background checks, including criminal, credit, and employment verification.
  4. References: Provide a minimum of 2 supervisory references.
  5. Skills:
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Independent worker and team player.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
