As a Registered Nurse at Lutheran Life Communities, you will play a pivotal role in providing compassionate and holistic care to our residents, making a profound impact on their overall well-being. Through diligent assessment, monitoring, and personalized care planning, nurses ensure that residents receive the medical attention and support they need to thrive physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Schedule and Program Requirements
  • Complete the onboarding process.
  • Provide monthly availability to the PRN Coordinator.
  • Scheduled unless notified of staffing surplus.
  • No impact on PRN status if days decrease due to staffing.
  • Failure to meet monthly minimum may result in probation or disciplinary action.
  • FLEX PRN-A: Commit to one to four 12-hour shifts/month.
  • FLEX PRN-B: Commit to five or more 12-hour shifts/month.
What You Will Need
  • A current Illinois RN license is required.
  • Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures.
  • Experience in working with older adults is preferred.
