We're seeking a dedicated Pediatric Clinical Psychologist or Post-Doctoral Fellow to join our team in Ames, Iowa. This unique opportunity involves conducting assessments, providing recommendations, and delivering treatments for children and young adults with developmental disabilities.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement treatment programs, including therapy, counseling, or advice, tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, comprising pediatric psychology, mental health therapists, nurse practitioners, and other specialists.
  • Select and administer appropriate psychological instruments for assessments, ensuring accurate scoring and interpretation.
  • Communicate assessment results effectively, maintaining dignity and respect for clients and their families.
Requirements
  • A Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology is mandatory.
  • Licensure as a State of Iowa Licensed Psychologist or Provisional Psychology License (Post-Doctoral applicants accepted) is essential.
  • Two years or more of licensed practice are preferred.
  • Experience working with children on the autism spectrum is beneficial.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, read, write, and speak fluently.
  • Capacity to lift up to 35 lbs, move around the work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
