Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement master schedules to optimize production workflows and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor orders in process and initiate necessary steps to maintain schedule conformity.
  • Prepare summary reports on safety stock and delivery performance for Materials Manager and Production Manager.
  • Create and maintain planning bills of material for all applicable products.
  • Lead change initiatives to improve efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with IT on system and process improvements.
  • Serve as operations customer service liaison and interface with internal Customer Operations Group.
  • Coordinate sales and operations planning efforts within the facility.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience using MRP/ERP computer systems and scheduling/forecasting.
  • Proven experience with Kanban Market Systems and good computer skills.
  • Strong organizational and written communication skills.
  • APICS certification preferred.
