About the RoleThe Labor and Delivery RN is responsible for coordinating and providing patient care for all assigned patients in the Labor and Delivery unit. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting initial and ongoing assessments of patients and developing individualized patient care plans
- Providing family-centered patient teaching and identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate discharge planning and teaching
- Administering medications accurately and legibly documenting patient responses

Requirements and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- BLS certification required per St. David's Healthcare policy
- ACLS or ALS certification required per St. David's Healthcare policy
- NRP certification required per St. David's Healthcare policy
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
