About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our Utilities team in Charlotte, NC. This role will involve managing utility projects, supervising teams, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Job Description

This is a full-time position that requires coordination, communication, and enforcement of company processes, procedures, and standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Project management: overseeing the systematic and consistent execution of projects, including supervision and management of clients, people, processes, and resources.
  • Client management: developing and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing solutions.
  • Team management: leading, supervising, and monitoring team members to achieve departmental goals and strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
  • 8+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years of project management experience.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
