About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in our COPE Clinic. This is a casual pool position, working on an as-needed basis, with varying shifts.

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating age-specific considerations and discharge planning.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance professional growth and development.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A RN license in New Mexico or a reciprocal agreement state.
  • Current CPR certification for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer within 30 days of hire.
  • At least 2 years of directly related experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Bilingual skills in English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo (non-essential).
