Job Summary

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team in a travel position in Hawaii.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take X-Ray images of specified body areas as directed by a Radiologist.
  • Follow established procedures for transferring, preparing, and positioning of patients for imaging.
  • Operate radiographic equipment following patient safety, radiation safety, and health standards.
  • Perform quality control measures for printers and readers when necessary.
  • Provide basic nursing skills and quality patient care.
  • Complete diagnostic work as requested by the Radiologist.
  • Process and QA x-ray images in preparation for reading by the Radiologist.
  • Maintain and clean radiographic and non-radiographic equipment.
  • Provide hospitable guest and patient services.
Requirements
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Possess a State of Hawaii License (RT).
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care to various types of patients.
  • Ability to maintain professional and cordial relationships with patients, clerical staff, and all medical personnel.
  • Previous DXA and CT experience are a plus.
