Industrial Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Industrial Business Development Manager to join our team at Meras Water Solutions. This is a dynamic opportunity for a sales professional who can drive growth, build strong relationships, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business leads, meeting sales targets, and maintaining existing customer relationships. They will also lead a team of Service Technicians in providing services to clients and develop strategies to increase sales annually by 15%.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet annual sales targets of $500,000 to $1,000,000.
- Pursue continuous sales efforts of Meras products and services to meet a sales quota.
- Utilize Salesforce to track all sales activity for prospective, new, and existing customers.
- Conduct marketing analysis and identify prospective customers.
- Establish and maintain good relationships and frequent communication with customers.
- Assure customer satisfaction with our products and service offerings.
- Support Industrial Team with technical questions, account-specific questions, and any other questions/issues that arise.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in water treatment, mechanical, or similar industries.
- Strong business acumen and intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Intermediate Salesforce CRM software skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to obtain CWT and ASSE 12080 certifications within the first year of employment.
- Located in or near San Jose - San Francisco.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will also have opportunities for career growth and professional development within our company.
