Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team on a night shift basis. This role will be responsible for ensuring all assigned daily PM's are completed, maintaining production lines in good mechanical order, and providing assistance to other teams as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all assigned daily PM's are completed
* Maintain production lines in good mechanical order
* Provide assistance to other teams (Production, Quality) when needed
* Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Safety Practices at all times
Requirements
* 5-10 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Basic knowledge of General Maintenance, Hydraulic Systems, Electrical and Electronic Systems, and Welding (TIG, MIG)
* Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
* Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as blue prints, safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals
Working Conditions
This position involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, extreme cold, electrical, and vibration shock. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of Butterball's Drug/Alcohol Screening & Testing Policy.
