Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Team Lead

West Star Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of aviation maintenance technicians, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and compliance with company quality assurance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of aviation maintenance technicians, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork.
  • Provide daily oversight of assigned technicians, including setting work schedules and ensuring adequate manpower, parts, and other resource needs for project success.
  • Ensure strict adherence to aviation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all team members and customers.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the highest standards of service delivery and compliance with company quality assurance guidelines.
  • Coordinate and conduct training programs to equip team members with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Identify areas for process enhancement and implement strategies to optimize team workflows, efficiency, and overall productivity.
Requirements:
  • A High school diploma or equivalent, and Airframe and Powerplant License are required.
  • 5-10 years' experience on aircraft maintenance, with 8-10 years' experience in turbine aircraft maintenance.
  • Experience in supervision of four or more team members, with FAA paperwork, work order, and billing process experience.
  • Excellent customer contact skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
