Job Summary

The Project Engineer is responsible for the overall execution of the engineering for assigned projects or proposals. This position will monitor and coordinate the technical deliverables to ensure that they satisfy the contract scope and quality requirements. The Project Engineer is the primary technical contact with the client.

  • Coordinates Engineering Input for Schedule Development
  • Works with Discipline Leads to Ensure Schedule Adherence
  • Coordinates Schedule Updates and Submittals
  • Coordinates with Clients and Discipline Leads to Determine Design Codes
  • Develops and Communicates Engineering Scope of Work and Project Engineering Plan
  • Ensures Disciplines Stay Within Scope and As-Sold Intent
  • Implements Approved Project Changes and Associated Schedule Impact
  • Verifies Discipline Project Quality Processes
  • Holds Design Coordination Meetings with Discipline Leads
  • Coordinates with Project Management, Procurement, and Document Control
  • Coordinates Discipline Field Support and Establishes RFI System
  • Oversees Work Performed in Accordance with Approved Manuals and Procedures
  • Reviews and Provides Engineering Input for Weekly and Monthly Reports
  • Participates in Project Review Meetings
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Any Engineering Discipline from ABET Accredited University Required
  • 5+ Years of Experience Leading Multiple Disciplines in EPC Projects and Proposals
  • Desired Experience with Engineered Fixed Equipment, Including Above Ground Storage Tanks and Low Temp Systems
  • Ability to Understand Client Specifications, Procurement, Commissioning, and Start-Up Standards
  • Overtime and Travel Required
