Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Franjo Construction Corporation. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for preparing and setting concrete forms, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare foundations of structures for pour, verifying elevations and setting edge forms.
- Construct beams, slab on grade, columns, and panels for pour, using wood, metal, composite, or plastic forms.
- Finish surfaces by floating, troweling, and grooving, applying curing compound and saw cutting as required.
- Trowel to create final texture of concrete, both by hand and powered machine.
- Check work for quality, chipping, scraping, and grinding high spots, ridges, and rough projections.
- Work to time, considering how weather conditions affect the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process.
- Maintain production quantities outlined by the project schedule.
- Follow proper clean-up procedures and perform demolition work on project sites.
- Operate all types of hand tools and equipment as required by construction activities.
- Demolish and/or construct interior/exterior partitions for weather protection.
- Provide input on jobsite logistics, organization, layout, equipment, and manpower utilization.
- Clean project sites and maintain order with all tools and equipment.
- Adhere to company comprehensive project safety and security programs.
Requirements:
- Completion of apprentice/vocational program or an equivalent combination of training/education.
- Minimum of 3 years of field experience in the concrete finishing trade.
