Electronics Display Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Functionality Technician to join our team at Best Buy. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electronic demonstration displays in our retail stores.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships and delivering solutions to customer needs.
- Respond to escalations in a timely manner, ensuring that customer issues are resolved promptly.
- Collaborate with retail partners to ensure that they are following standard operating procedures and working effectively with market partners.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain low-voltage displays, associated systems, and company electronic systems.
- Conduct regular system checks, including local off-air signal and physical inventory port functionality.
- Install and maintain horizontal and backbone cabling, ensuring that technology infrastructure is up-to-date and efficient.
- Build strong relationships with store, district, and market teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Provide mentorship to project teams, modeling and coaching functionality standard operating procedures.
- Deliver detailed updates to partners and provide quality feedback to improve existing processes.
- 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic displays and technical components.
- Ability to safely use small hand tools, light-duty power tools, and in-house equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Current, valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
- Travel required, up to 50% of the year.
- 2+ years of project management and/or retail leadership experience.
- Experience with problem-solving, communication, and priority setting.
- Experience driving results, customer focus, integrity, trust, and ethics.
