Estimated Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, preparing environmental reports, permits, and related materials, and assisting clients with permit coordination, acquisition, and compliance.

  • Experience in report writing, performing wetland delineations, leading field crews, permitting.
  • Preparation of NEPA documents.
  • Data collection using GPS equipment; preparation of GIS maps and exhibits.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of environmental science experience supporting the transportation industry, such as National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) work with TxDOT, a State or Federal Resource agency, a local government or metropolitan planning organization (MPO).
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science, biology, ecology, natural resources, geosciences, geography, or a related field.
  • Solid organizational and technical writing skills.
  • Effective time-management, written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
