Sapphire at Cedar Crossings, a leading Post-Acute Care Rehab and Nursing home in Portland, OR, is seeking a qualified Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team. As a CMA, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Job Summary:

A Certified Medication Aide (CMA) administers medications to residents while adhering to established policies, procedures, state, and federal regulations. Sapphire provides the training and resources necessary to maintain top-quality skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents
  • Administer medications as ordered by the plan of care for each resident
  • Seek licensed staff assistance as needed and with PRN medications
  • Ensure medications are given to the right person, in the right manner, at the right time
  • Chart all appropriate documentation
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Work with nurse supervisor to monitor any changes in condition
  • Communicate effectively with staff, residents, family members, etc.
  • Foster a supportive, compassionate environment for our residents and their families
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Active Certified Medication Aide (CMA) License or CNA License with proof of Certified Medication Aide (CMA) program enrollment
