We are seeking a skilled Insurance Sales Agent to join our team at The Avers Agency. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will be responsible for facilitating insurance sales among new and prospective clients.

- Update reports, records, and bookkeeping systems to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals.
- Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders.
- Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales.
- Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs.
Qualifications:
- Fundamental computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills, with customer service skills being a plus.
- A basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful.
- Candidates must have or be willing to obtain an insurance license.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but a high school diploma is mandatory.
