About the Role

RSM US LLP is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Financial Due Diligence Manager. As a key member of our Transaction Advisory Services team, you will play a critical role in providing financial and operational analysis to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead financial due diligence for clients acquiring businesses, ensuring thorough analysis and accurate financial modeling.
  • Collaborate with clients, directors, and other team members to provide expert financial guidance and support.
  • Develop and present detailed financial analysis to help clients evaluate acquisition decisions and financing requirements.
  • Utilize industry-leading software tools to drive efficiency and accuracy in financial analysis.
  • Interact with other functional areas of the practice, including tax, audit, and consulting, to provide comprehensive support to clients.
  • Assist in preparing proposals and engagement letters, ensuring clear and concise communication with clients.
  • Represent the firm in community activities and professional associations, promoting RSM's expertise and reputation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in an Audit or Transaction Advisory practice within a national or regional public accounting or consulting firm.
  • Proven supervision and team leadership experience, with a track record of directing and managing client engagements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal team members and external clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software tools.
  • Ability to travel 25-30% overnight, with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA certification, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Experience in networking and communicating with C-level executives, with a proven ability to build strong relationships.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Evaluated as an exceptional performer in current position, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Possess a good balance of strong audit skills and business acumen, with the ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal team members and external clients.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Able to work within tight deadlines, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Preferred industry experience in one or more of the following: manufacturing, distribution, retail, healthcare, energy, and technology.
