UV Resources, a leading provider of innovative solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our products to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience in reading and comprehending drawings, specifications, and bid documents. You will be responsible for performing calculations to ensure our systems meet global safety standards, collaborating with technicians and computer programmers to solve emerging issues, and providing engineering design, maintenance support, and training to the manufacturing areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new products and systems, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement in energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and system reliability
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and safety standards for current and new equipment
  • Conduct experiments, collect data, and interpret results to inform product development and improvement
  • Provide technical documentation, including system drawings, control narratives, and user manuals, for each of our products
  • Generate regular progress reports and project updates for internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design and packaging, thermal management of electronics, and/or HVAC systems
  • Experience with Automated Logic Controls, Delta Controls, Siemens Climatix Controls, and/or ePlan design software
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and SolidWorks/AutoCAD
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with listing/certification agencies such as UL and/or Intertek
  • Experience in computer programming, including Python, MS Basic, Net, and C#
  • Understanding of TQM (Total Quality Management) and ability to read simple schematics
