About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse to join our team at Maine Medical Center. As a Surgical ICU nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our critical care unit.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a surgical/trauma ICU setting and possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Maine or ability to obtain prior to start date.
  • 3+ years of experience in a surgical/trauma ICU setting.
  • Excellent clinical skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
