System Troubleshooter and Expert

We are seeking a skilled Security Service Technician IV to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues with intrusion, IP CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems from various manufacturers.

You will possess strong communication skills to interact with customers, inform them of next steps, and provide written or digital reports as needed. Your expertise will include inspecting systems to ensure proper functionality and providing accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a Massachusetts Class D electrical License, 3 years of experience in the low-voltage or security industry, and a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record. A high school diploma or GED is also required. Additionally, you should be able to pass thorough background and identity checks.

Bonus points if you can read blueprints and schematic drawings, operate hand and power tools, and climb ladders safely. Excellent customer service skills are a must

A Day in the Life
  • Locate and fix trouble with damaged equipment or wiring
  • Repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation
  • Coordinate inspections and installations with relevant agencies
  • Perform repairs and inspections of security systems
  • Assist fellow technicians with system repairs and complete minor fixes

We estimate that your salary will range from $55,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on your experience and location.
