Job Title: Project Manager

Welty Building Company is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our North East Ohio team in delivering high-profile, multi-year projects.

As a Project Manager at Welty, you will be responsible for collaborating with our team to ensure successful project delivery, meeting client objectives, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including time, cost, and quality parameters.
  • Communicate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to manage project risks, timelines, and budgets.
  • Plan and manage quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
  • Assist in leading cross-functional project teams and facilitate communication between team members and clients.
  • Monitor and apply performance management techniques to improve project performance.
  • Manage project information flow between the team and clients through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager of commercial building projects valued at $50 million or larger.
  • Experience with complex facades on large-scale projects or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in Lean Construction processes or ability to adapt to new methodologies.
  • A record of leading projects that finish safely, on time, and on budget.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, ethics, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to lead and work in a collaborative environment.
  • Attention to world-class quality and workmanship.
  • Proficient in construction software, including Procore (preferred) and Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of project-level accounting.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, specifications, and contractual documents.
  • Conduct themselves professionally with Welty's longtime client and contractor relationships.
  • Ability to leverage technology within a construction environment.
  • Preconstruction and/or estimating experience.
