Job Title: Azure Data Lead

Location: United States

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Azure Data Lead to join our team at United Software Group. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based data architectures using Azure data services such as Cosmos DB, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, and Gremlin API.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain C# code using ASP.Net Core
  • Design and implement data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data architecture meets business requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud-based data architectures
  • Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop data solutions
  • Develop and maintain data security and compliance practices
  • Develop and maintain data documentation and knowledge base
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality
  • Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment scripts
  • Develop and maintain Azure Functions
  • Develop and maintain Azure Databricks
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop machine learning and data analytics concepts
  • Develop and maintain data visualization and reporting tools
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering
  • Develop and maintain data engineering knowledge base

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working with Azure data services
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining C# code using ASP.Net Core
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles
  • Experience with cloud-based data architectures and best practices
  • Good to excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Desired skills: Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, machine learning, data analytics, Azure DevOps, tools
