Occupational Therapist Position in Lake Charles

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Tri-Parish Therapy Group in Lake Charles, LA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients by providing high-quality therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence and overall well-being.
- Implement and monitor therapeutic exercises and activities tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide education to patients and their families on injury prevention and at-home exercises to ensure optimal recovery and continued progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients, fostering a supportive and interdisciplinary approach to treatment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare providers and facilitating informed decision-making.
Requirements:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Louisiana (or equivalent)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to teamwork.
- Experience in outpatient therapy settings preferred, but not required.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compassion.
