Speech-Language Pathology Specialist for Elementary Education

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a Speech-Language Pathology Specialist for Elementary Education, you will provide dedicated, one-on-one support to a 2nd-grade student. You will be part of a passionate team that prioritizes the student's overall development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough evaluations of the student's speech and language needs to inform a tailored treatment plan.
- Personalized Support: Develop and implement a customized treatment plan to address the student's communication challenges, focusing on individualized, one-on-one speech therapy services.
- Progress Monitoring: Maintain detailed records of the student's progress and therapy sessions, ensuring accurate documentation and seamless communication with the student's support network.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support and ensure the student's overall development.
- IEP Participation: Actively participate in IEP meetings, offering valuable insights on the student's speech and language requirements, and staying current with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certification: Valid Wisconsin license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology, with ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience: Experience working with elementary school students is preferred but not required.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and consistently meet deadlines.
- Passion: Passion for helping students reach their full potential.
