Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hospitalist Physician to join our team in Glasgow, Kentucky. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality medical care to hospitalized patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Medical Care Provision: Provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients in an inpatient setting, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Patient Assessments and Treatment Plans: Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress, working closely with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Participate in daily rounds and patient care meetings to discuss cases and care plans, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration among team members.
  • Mentorship and Education: Educate and mentor medical residents and students, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally.
  • Record-Keeping and Quality Improvement: Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with hospital policies and engage in quality improvement initiatives to contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
