About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air C2 Systems Engineer to lead our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise for test, engineering, and training efforts related to Air C2 systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide teams in providing technical support and expertise for test, engineering, and training efforts related to Air C2 systems.
  • Define, organize, and assign activities to accomplish engineering and testing efforts.
  • Provide technical mentoring to individuals and teams.
  • Develop, integrate, and implement solutions to diverse, highly complex technical problems across multiple areas and disciplines.
  • Develop, review, write, or provide technical input to technical test and engineering documents.
  • Develop and present briefings as required.
  • Document technical status, progress, and problems encountered during test and engineering events.
  • Interact independently and proactively with customers to identify and define complex problems and to develop and implement strategies or techniques for resolving technical issues.
  • Work with customers to evaluate and analyze technical requirements and test objectives to develop plans to test these requirements and objectives.
  • Identify, plan, allocate, and optimize resources to complete multiple project-related tasks and goals.
  • Manage and maintain equipment and configurations in the test and engineering labs.
Requirements
  • Minimum five years of experience as a systems engineer.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Two years of experience performing engineering, software development, testing, or system administration of Air C2 systems such as CAC2S, CTN, or TBMCS.
  • Experience in project management, configuration management, and quality control procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience administering VMware ESXi, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows Server Operating Systems.
  • Experience in Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Working knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting of Cisco routing and switching.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
  • Certified Systems Engineering Professional certification.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
