Deli Cook

We are seeking a skilled Deli Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Deli Cook, you will be responsible for assisting with daily deli operations, including food preparation, slicing meats and cheeses, making sandwiches, and packaging products.

• Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including slicing meats and cheeses, making sandwiches, and packaging products.
• Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation, adhering to all health regulations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all deli equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Quality Control: Ensure all deli products meet Mae's Market and Cafe's quality standards.
• Teamwork: Follow all standard operating procedures and policies, and work collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve our goals.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a deli, kitchen, or food service environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in using deli equipment and preparing deli products.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
