Job Overview

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the highest quality food service to our students, faculty, and staff. The successful candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with experience in planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation. They will be responsible for coordinating and participating in the preparation and cooking of various food items, as well as assisting with menu planning and implementing new culinary programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Assist with budgeting and cost control to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our customers.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in the kitchen.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position, including 1 year at the management level.
  • A degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
