**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly qualified Medical Imaging Instructor to join our team at Smith Chason College. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and guidance to students in the medical imaging field.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and update syllabi for courses, ensuring alignment with program objectives and industry standards.
* Deliver lectures, optimize instructional resources, and provide practical demonstrations on ergonomics, anatomy, and scanning techniques.
* Assist students with protocols and procedures, offering constructive feedback and support.
* Provide timely feedback on academic progress, maintain accurate records, and update the Program Director on student performance.
* Adhere to institutional policies, participate in faculty meetings and development programs, and uphold ethical standards.
* Foster an inclusive, diverse learning environment and accommodate students' personal and educational needs.
**Requirements:**
* A minimum of four years of related practical work experience in the subject area(s) taught, with a related degree at least at the same level as the course being taught.
* Current industry certification(s) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
* Sound knowledge and understanding of professional career paths and employer demands in the field(s) of instruction.
* Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer applications, internet research, database management, and analytical skills.

Must be able to stand and/or sit for prolonged periods of time. Can independently move objects up to 25 lbs. Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, other office machinery, and perform repetitive motions. Must have sufficient hearing and speaking ability to communicate in person or on the phone/computer with others.
**Salary:** $50.00 per hour
