Front Office Director

We are seeking an experienced Front Office Director to join our team at The Laura Hotel in Downtown Houston. This is a dynamic and exciting opportunity for a skilled hospitality professional to lead our front office operations and provide exceptional guest service.
About the Role:This senior-level position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a luxury hotel setting. As a Front Office Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that all front office standards are met, including efficient registration, checkout, and telephone service. You will also oversee the implementation of company and franchise programs, prepare forecasts and reports, and assist in the development of the room's budget.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage front office staff, providing training, supervision, and guidance as needed.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and quality control procedures.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and comments, making adjustments to improve service as needed.
- Develop and implement expense management controls, utilizing labor management tools to optimize staffing and minimize costs.
- Recruit, train, and develop front office staff, promoting a positive work environment and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with guests, resolving problems promptly and professionally.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
- Strong knowledge of front office operations, including registration, checkout, and telephone service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Bonus potential up to 20% of base salary.
