**Company Overview:**

Kohler, a leader in the industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to join their team. As a key member of the corporate legal department, you will provide strategic guidance on commercial and real estate matters.

**Estimated Salary:** $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

**Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating and drafting domestic and international commercial agreements, including supply and purchase agreements, service agreements, development agreements, NDAs, and licensing agreements. You will work closely with the commercial legal team and business contacts to align on commercial agreement language and strategy, providing training to upskill business teams on legal issues related to negotiation and implementation of commercial agreements.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Negotiate and draft lease agreements, subleases, and purchase and sale agreements to support company production, supply chain, and sales real estate needs.
  • Conduct real estate due diligence in support of enterprise M&A activity.
  • Negotiate construction-related agreements for facility buildout, expansion, or redesigns.
  • Develop strategic plans and playbooks in support of enterprise real estate strategy.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need an undergraduate and law (L.L.B. or J.D.) degree, and be licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin or licensed in another state bar with ability to obtain in-house counsel status in Wisconsin. Prefer one to five years' experience as a practicing lawyer working on real estate and commercial transactional matters either in private practice or with a corporate legal department.
