We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Merchandise Expert to join our team at Target. As a key member of our General Merchandise and Food Sales team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities- Create a welcoming experience for guests by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that the sales floor is well-organized and visually appealing.
- Execute daily and weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals, including tasks such as replenishment, inventory accuracy, and promotional signing.
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team to prioritize daily workload based on business and guest needs.
- Stay up-to-date on operational procedures, such as planogram ties, product capacities, and sales floor quantities, to ensure efficient and effective execution.
- Operate power equipment safely and efficiently, and follow all safety policies and best practices.
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
- Ability to communicate effectively on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve guest questions quickly and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
