About the Role

This position requires a licensed RN with a degree from an accredited institution. Experience in an acute care setting is preferred, as is proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHRs) for patient-level care and coordination. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing individualized patient care through the nursing process, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing physical and psychological support to patients and their families. This role involves conducting patient assessments, prioritizing data collection, and monitoring patient conditions to provide the best possible care and advice.

Essential Functions
  • Conducts individualized patient assessments, prioritizing data collection based on the patient's immediate condition or needs within specified timeframes.
  • Performs appropriate treatments and administrations of medication as ordered by providers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Delivers care with age and cultural competence, addressing individualized needs and plans of care for patients and their families.
  • Provides customized patient/family education tailored to individual needs.
  • Documents patient conditions, assessment findings, and responses to nursing interventions and progress towards problem resolution.
  • Initiates emergency resuscitative measures according to adult resuscitation and advanced life support protocols.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure with the South Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
