Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our hospital's rehabilitation team in King City, CA. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy and be licensed in California.

About the Role

This full-time, day-shift position offers the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and provide top-tier care in a collaborative environment. You will assess patients' abilities and limitations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to help them improve their daily living skills and overall independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and developmental conditions to determine functional limitations and abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans focused on improving patients' ability to perform daily living and work activities.
  • Provide exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to help patients regain independence.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and the use of assistive devices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.
Requirements
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy practices and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

The estimated salary for this role is $115,000 - $145,000 per year, depending on experience.
