About the Position:

Allied Resources is seeking a skilled Reliability Specialist to join their team in the Greater Philadelphia area. This role offers a competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k with a company match, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct root cause analysis on failed equipment to identify and eliminate underlying issues.
  • Develop and implement Reliability Control Plans for various equipment types, focusing on safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide guidance on executing and documenting repair and preventive maintenance activities for fixed equipment.
  • Collaborate with equipment manufacturers, technical specialists, and support consultants.
  • Build expertise in drafting maintenance job plans for specific repair tasks.
  • Update and maintain critical maintenance documentation, including repair reports, bills of materials, and upgrade recommendations.
  • Prepare technical reports to document repair processes, failure analysis, equipment and process improvements, and inspection findings.
  • Collect, analyze, and manage plant reliability metrics.
  • Contribute to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) initiatives at the site.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment performance as required.
  • Support equipment installations and upgrades by ensuring maintainability and reliability considerations are integrated into the project design.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in chemical/petrochemical plant maintenance and/or reliability engineering.
  • Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Leadership experience (temporary or interim assignments acceptable).
  • Proficiency with drafting and design software.
