About the Opportunity

Glen Oaks Country Club is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Banquet Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for soliciting new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and promoting banquet and catering services to internal and external clients. This includes developing and executing strategic sales plans, conducting site visits, and negotiating contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solicit new accounts and review previous Catering/Banquet files to generate business.
  • Interact with clients and prospective clients to determine needs and direct staff accordingly.
  • Direct and maintain the sales process.
  • Respond to all inquiry phone calls/walk-ins.
  • Conduct site visits/entertain potential clients.
  • Assisted with the development, editing, and distribution of all banquet-related files that generate business.
  • Negotiate, prepare, and write proposals and contracts.
  • Work closely with Brides in the bridal market.
  • Acts as the face of the business to those seeking Wedding venues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years experience as a Sales Director.
  • Solid understanding of revenue generation.
  • Proven track record of sales performance.
  • Knowledge of social etiquette.
  • Creative menu development skills.
  • High energy, outgoing personality.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong technical literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
