Job Summary

The Nurse Administrator/Program Director is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the nursing program at Southeastern College. This individual will lead the development and implementation of curriculum, manage faculty and staff, and ensure the program's effectiveness and accreditation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum for the nursing program
  • Manage faculty and staff, including recruitment, evaluation, and professional development
  • Oversee the program's budget and resources
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure program effectiveness and accreditation
  • Facilitate student engagement and participation in student governance
  • Assess student progress and provide developmental feedback and remediation plans
Requirements
  • Master's in Nursing, minimum
  • Academic leadership experience, minimum 2 years
  • Full-time teaching experience, minimum 2 years
  • Full-time nursing practice experience, minimum 4 years
Work Environment

The Nurse Administrator/Program Director will work in a professional office setting with moderate noise levels and controlled indoor climate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

This position is an onsite position located at the Southeastern College campus unless otherwise determined by the Office of the Executive Director.
